Learning how to make kitchari, chapatis, chai tea, cilantro chutney, and cardamom ghee at today’s Ayurveda cooking class was an invaluable experience. Ever since I developed digestive issues, I have been searching for what is truly healthy. We learned how to modify the recipes for vegans and those who eat gluten-free. We learned all about different spices and how they affect digestion—the best part was getting the chance to try each one as they were passed around! The end products were so delicious, and it was wonderful to bring home the leftovers. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to learn more about healthy digestion or using food as medicine. I hope to come back in the near future for another class.
